NaughtySVN 0.0.1 Release Notes
NaughtySVN (NSVN) is an easy-to-use Subversion client and has a
Graphical User Interface. NSVN works as an extension to the Nautilus
File Manager (a graphical shell for the GNOME desktop environment),
which can be activated from the Nautilus file browsing window.
As the version number (0.0.1) suggests this is not a stable product.
Currently only a basic set of Subversion functionality is supported
(create repository, checkout, add, update, commit) and some other
partially implemented features. This version is also meant mostly for
reading and getting a feel of the product.
It will compile and can be installed on your machine. if anything
goes wrong or if you are not able to compile I can help. Changes are
frequent, and the first stable version will probably differ wildly
from this pre-alpha-release.
This isn't yet a useful Subversion client and anyone who hoped for
that will have to wait for the first real release (1.0), and
even then you might not want to change Subversion client you are using.
This is a source release for those who are interested in seeing what
naughtysvn looks like, and it's not really supported yet. Anyone with
questions or suggestions or even bug-reports is encouraged to mail at
dev@naughtysvn.tigris.org
Software dependencies include GNOME-2, Subversion 1.3, Nautilus 2.9,
Glib/Gtk 2.6.
